About Our Emerging Futures

I launched Our Emerging Futures because I believe we are living through a truly significant evolutionary moment. When I look at the turbulence in today’s world - the wars, environmental crises, and collapsing systems - it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. However, I see these challenges as a necessary signal that old structures are breaking down to make space for something new.

For over 20 years, my work as a psychotherapist, social worker, and coach has been about helping people navigate change, blending therapeutic awareness with forward-looking action. Throughout my life, I’ve felt a deep drive to initiate and support projects that plant seeds for the future - from community and peace-building initiatives in Northern Ireland to food co-ops and conscious living conferences here in Dublin.

In this podcast, I’m building on that lifelong pattern of "inner yes" projects. Drawing on the astrological framework of our current shift from Pluto in Capricorn to Pluto in Aquarius, I see us collectively moving away from rigid, top-down systems and toward something more resilient: bottom-up, non-hierarchical, and community-led solutions. Our Emerging Futures is my way of spotlighting the inspiring, hopeful people who are already on the ground, creating sustainable, community-focused projects. This is a space to explore how we can consciously shape what comes next, together. I invite you to join me as we learn from these change-makers and envision the world we want to inhabit.

Join us as we dive into:
